When in the fully open position, the thickness of the disc is the resistance that can be generated when the medium flows through the valve body, so the pressure drop generated by the valve is small, so it has better characteristics in flow controlling. It is mainly used for water supply and drainage in water plants, power plants, steel mill smelting, paper making, chemical industry, food and other systems, especially for use as a regulating flow device on the water pipe.
