Application of Dynamic Balancing Valve in HVAC Engineering

No matter heating or air conditioning project, it is impossible to use the same journey system because of condition restrictions. In actual design, the heterogeneous system uses a pressure head to ensure the adverse of loop end in the system, and other air conditioning end resource uses the value of design working conditions, especially the large-scale building function is of a complex project, due to the long pipeline, air conditioning end start-stop differences, resistance difference, there are many pressure heads near the cold and hot source, and the flow distribution is deviated from the design, resulting in hydraulic system problems. Because of the flow deviation, the near end of the hot and cold source appears that heating is not hot and air conditioning is too chilly, and other phenomena, which is not only to ensure that the function is used but also to waste energy.

Ⅰ. Solving hydraulic disorder with a dynamic balancing valve

Add a throttling orifice plate first. Add a throttling orifice plate near the cold source loop, heat inlet, and other parts of the air conditioning to solve the hydraulic imbalance of the water system's thermal end flow and resistance, which can't appear to change the situation. As a result, the end flow changes will continue to cause hydraulic problems and energy waste.

Second, manual adjustment valves must be installed. The choice of a manual dynamic equilibrium valve for large air conditioning systems is difficult to alter because the front-end valve for manual adjustment will affect the back-end flow. When the back-end flow rate is changed, the front-end flow rate changes as well. As a result, the adjustment is difficult and time-consuming. Engineers must be able to modify the valve in complex systems if there is system pressure, load, or re-adjustment of the hydraulic system.

The third step is to install a dynamic balancing valve. Determine the end of the air conditioning equipment, the thermal inlet design flow rate. According to the range of pressure and flow changes at the valve, determine the dynamic equilibrium valve and install the valve. We need only the differential pressure changes at the valve to control valve pressure without artificial adjustment.

Ⅱ. The practical application of dynamic balancing valves in engineering

To begin with, district heating. Dynamic balancing valves are used in thermal inlets to ensure that system flow, indoor warming valves and heating systems need to confirm that each radiator has enough flow, and dynamic equilibrium valves need to ensure that each riser has a consistent flow, so that the horizontal imbalance is corrected.

The air conditioning system comes in second. In large air conditioning system and centralized air conditioning system, the dynamic balance valve is set at the end of the air conditioning equipment, and it is through the three-way electric valve to ensure the operation flow of equipment, the hydraulic conditions adjusted by the dynamic balance valve. When the pump, cooling tower, cold and heat sources of the design pipeline are restricted, we can use dynamic equilibrium valve to prevent load, ensuring the equipment's normal and safe operation.
