The rubber ball rolls in the ball cover for a short stroke to realize the opening and closing of the valve. When the water pump is started, the water blasts the rubber ball under pressure, rolling the rubber ball to the right side, and fixed by the cone in the rear valve body, then the slam check valve opens. After the pump stops, due to the backwater pressure in the piping system, the rubber ball is forced to roll to the left front valve body to close the check valve.
The rubber ball is a hollow steel ball, with good elastic rubber attached, which not only guarantees the sealing but also reduces the damage to the piping system during the valve closing process. When the slam check valve is opened, the cone-shaped body has a fixed effect on the steel ball and eliminates the pressure of the contact area between the rubber ball and the cone-shaped body, so that the contact form is surface contact and reduces the tremor of the rubber ball in the valve body to avoid hydraulic loss.
The flow rate is large, the pressure loss of flow resistance is small, the sealing performance is good, the sound damping is closed, and the water hammer wave can be reduced. In addition, it can be installed both horizontally or vertically.
The micro-resistance spherical check valve can be applied at the pump outlets of cold water, hot water, industrial and domestic sewage pipe networks to prevent the medium from flowing back. In order to prevent the medium from flowing back, slam check valves should be installed on the equipment, devices and pipelines.
